Sketch Day with Kim Tucker – Breaking Ground: Women in California Clay

Saturday, October 15, 2022 • 12–3:00 PM (Pacific) • In Person

Get inspired by joining artist Kim Tucker for drop-in sketch day in the AMOCA galleries! Tucker will talk about how their drawings have influenced their sculptural work and the ideas behind their pieces in Breaking Ground: Women in California Clay.

Attendees will be able to share tips on how to overcome artist block and have time to creatively respond to some sculptural forms. Paper and pencils will be provided. Personal sketchbooks, mechanical or drawing pencils, and colored pencils are also allowed in the galleries, and you may bring yours with you, if you like.

Sketch Day Registration ($5-$15) also includes AMOCA Admission for the day.

Register for the event using the button below (it may take a moment to load). If you prefer, you may also register by emailing communications@amoca.org.
