Friday, December 2, 2022 • 6:00–7:00 PM • In Person

Learn the basics of handpainting with underglaze! It’s the perfect way to get your hands dirty, relax, and have fun! This winter Clay Day event is a 60 minute hands-on clay class just for members, led by Artist in Residence Breana Ferreira.

In this one-hour introductory class, you will learn the basics of hand painting with underglaze on a premade holiday ornament. Your finished ornaments will be fired after the class is completed – all included in the price. You’ll receive an email notification to schedule the pick up of the work. ‘Tis the season for decorating ornaments, and we look forward to having you.

Space is limited, and this class is complimentary for current AMOCA members. Choose the Members-Only Clay Day Registration option at check out when you reserve tickets below. Not yet a member? Visit our membership page to learn more.

If you’d like to bring a friend, invite them to become an AMOCA member! Or, you can direct them to the $50 Paid Registration for Non-Members option at check out.

Along with your class comes complimentary admission to the Museum’s galleries, where you can explore one of the largest collections of ceramic art in the United States. Our current exhibition is Breaking Ground: Women in California Clay, celebrating 44 artists who have defined—and redefined—ceramics over the past 100 years.
